My wipers started a few weeks ago not going all the way down when you turned them off - stopped 2-3" above where they're supposed to be. Then yesterday they started stopping halfway down the windshield which is really annoying.
When they are turned on they work perfectly and the rain sensor is working perfectly as well.
I have a 2001 C240 with about 120K miles (i.e. no warranty).
