Wheel repair or refinish?
I noticed today that on one of my wheels almost half of the outside circumference is badly scratched. Sort of like after a awful parking job. Finish is peeling off badly. Don't remember doing it.
Anyone knows who can repair or refinish a wheel?

I had my AMG wheel repaired....for a small nick I got when I hit a curb. I went to the MB dealer and they recommended me to an auto body shop that is an authorized MD body shop. They had a wheel specialist that comes in and repairs/refinishes wheels. I would ask the dealer and see if there is a body shop that can fix it for you. It cost me $75 for a nick that was about 1.5cm long. Or you can send the entire wheel to a place that fixes them. Good luck.

I tried to find a place to get mine fixed, but no one around here thought they could replicate the finish of the C7 wheel. I ended up getting a new one ($300) and insurance paid - since it was damaged by debris in the road.

My dealer recommeneded a place they use (Alberta Wheel Repair). They looked at the wheel and qouted me 150CAD (100USD) to repair and refinish the whole wheel.
I'll probably go for it next week, and would have to drive around with the spare-donut for a few days

I scratched my left wheel by using the new ESSO automatic drive-thru car wash bays. Guess I'll be bring my wheels to Alberta Wheel Repair when I swap my summer wheels for the winter ones.
