slight ticking when excelerating..help
i was wondering if any of you peeples hear a ticking noise with your c240 when excelerating i hear a ticking noise kinda like that noise when u have a card taped to a bicycle wheel
it doesnt sound too bad but still it make s me uneasy and i dun remember if i had that before cause i always had themusic on so i couldnt tell..but when i turn it off it makes a slight ticking sound as i accelerate...any one ?

lots of owners.. (including me) have heard a ticking noise coming from the engine..you can hear it really well when it's idling.... the "fix" to get rid of that noise is to replace the purge valve with the redesigned one that doesn't make the noise....'
have you tried listeining for the ticking when it's idling?

u mean when im in Drive but im stopped and braking
iono bout that i ll check today
but i know fer sure theres a slight ticking when i hit the gas the harder i accelerate the louder the tick..its weird

yeah or just put it in neutral and listen to see if you hear any ticking... listening in neutral would be better..
