Need Help Choosing New Rims Helpppppp

I cannot figure out how to pot pics on this site so go to this site http://velocitymotoring.com/wheels.php and the first choice are the vm1 and the second being the vm6
Out of these two replica wheels which ones should I purchasethe first ones being 19x8.5 the second wheels being 18x8.5. I have a 2005 white c230 ss and I just wanted some feedback on which would look better on the ride. Also should i stagger the tires would it be a better ride quality what do you guys think just help me out here please.

IMO.....I say go with the 'VM6'.

As far as staggering giving you better ride quality, I'm not sure? I have a staggered setup, and the ride quality is almost stock (as stock as it can get with 19's)

I'll tell you the same thing that I tell most people when asking advice for what to select:
1) What is your budget?

Main reason I ask is that will allow people to be more specific about giving advice.

- Consider that the difference in price between 18's vs. 19's could be significant if you account for tires.
- Consider that when you are choosing "replica" rims, you have to take into account the possbility that they may not be very high quality. Research how they are made, what type of metal, etc...That way you know if they could easily bend (especially running on lower profile tires)
- Consider that if you go w/ staggered tires (whether on 18's or 19's), #1) you can only rotate front L to front R and rear L to rear R and if you don't get directional tires, you will most likely have to have the tires taken off the wheel and remounted, in order to do a rotation, which in essence translates to $$$$$, #2) Wider tires (especially when staggered) are more expensive, #3) Tires for 18 inch rims will be less than tires for 19 inch rims

So what is your highest priority? Is it saving money? Performance? Look? All three? 2 of the 3? Each one of these (money, performance, look) means more and more money...(i.e. getting back to my original question).

Ride quality will be slightly different when going 18's vs. 19's, but not significant. Just remember, the less rubber you have, the more rough the ride is likely to be...so w/ 18's you'll have more rubber than 19's.

Point is, anybody on these boards can tell you go with this rim or go with that rim (based on looks alone), but when it comes down to it, you're the one that's gonna be looking at them on your car every day, not everybody on this board.

Just in terms of my opinion on looks, I like the "Brabus Monoblock VI style" (aka VM6) better than the VM1 ("AMG style"), but that's just my personal view. In all honesty, I wouldn't purchase either. I'd save up money to get a multipiece rim, with good quality and reputation that will last me a long time (w/o worrying about them bending on each little crack in the road). The stock rims on the 4.5 and up are nice enough that I could run on these and have no problem, but eventually, when I do an upgrade on rims, it'll be for something of extra good quality. That's just my 2 cents and my opinion. Ultimately, the decision is yours cuz we're not buying the rims for you.
