Really? They can take out the ding? What if it scratched the paint?
Sigh...Deep inside, I wanted to flatten the jerk's tires and sit around and wait for him/her and give them a few words
, but I had to control myself.
Thank god, it's not PMS time like below...otherwise, who knows what crazy psycho thoughts would have gone through my mind.
Anyways, I will try and get the ding out and look into one of those door ding repair guys. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Fixin It
I would go to MB, let them fix it. Then take the bill to the place where the mechanics trashed my car.
This is no better than some guy on the street scratching you car and saying "my cousin Hector can fix it real good".
Let MB do it, at least you have some recourse if it turns out nasty looking.
What passes for "looks good" depends on the guy paying for the repairs, not you.

Try having your Dad scrape the passenger side of the fender while Parking your car!
I wasn't too mad though since I intend on replacing the bumper at some point.

Out Of Control!!
My $.02
Document the damage with photos. Take it to a reputable body shop and get an estimate. See what they would do. Use this to negotiate with the Dodge dealer. If you decide to let them "touch it up", and it's not to your satisfaction, then ask them politely to make it right, and pay the body shop estimate for you to get it fixed. If they balk at this, then at least you have some documentation (pics, estimate, and the unsatisfactory result) to take them to court.
Since I doubt MB dealers do their own repairs on something like this (I could be wrong), it probably wouldn't make a difference if you have them do it, or the Dodge dealer. Although I understand Tishers' point, I think there are some big differences between this and "uncle Hector". Most likely, the Dodge dealer has been in business in the same place for awhile, and will continue to remain doing business there. A lot easier to bring legal action if needed than it would be for uncle Hector.
As for dings: There are many places that specialize in removing dings. Door dings for instance can be removed for very little money. I had 2 door dings removed from my wife's BMW for about $30. Perfect job!
