So if I were to get these, I couldn't put an aftermarket set of HID's in them because as I understand it...they will be too heavy for the 'projector' or something like that? If you can rig OEM 04 halogen headlights with aftermarket HID's then why can't you with these? Thanks for the clarification. They look great btw!!

Just use Sylvania Silverstars. They have a nice white look and are as bright as OEM bulbs, but won't blind other driver's like some HID's will.

Looks good... its a great alternative to the bi-x's.....looks pretty stock and half the price....... great mod!

These are fakes for halogen bulbs. OEMs are BIX with all the other stuff that goes along with it.
