I would certainly have tried these out for $400 if I still had a W203

So if I were to get these, I couldn't put an aftermarket set of HID's in them because as I understand it...they will be too heavy for the 'projector' or something like that? If you can rig OEM 04 halogen headlights with aftermarket HID's then why can't you with these? Thanks for the clarification. They look great btw!!

Just use Sylvania Silverstars. They have a nice white look and are as bright as OEM bulbs, but won't blind other driver's like some HID's will.

I have never really seen a set of factory projectors up close so my only frame of reference was my stock lights. Quality seems pretty good although not exactly the same (duh right). Its just that things don't CLICK together like on my stock assemblies. Other than that, I didn't not notice anything major.
Fitment to the car was as good as stock lights. I think we must assume now that they in fact do not fit the COUPE.
Turned on, they look great. I get a nice clear beam that I did not expect. Of course I've not really had experience w/ projectors before. I know the picture of the lights ON isn't good but my camera SUCKS.
I'll have to see how they hold up over time but for now NOT BAD FOR 400 BUX!

looks pretty damn good... ....great price...they're an option on the 05's for $790...not bad considering the MB warranty that comes with it...but non-the-less....I'd go with that set-up if I didn't get the Bi-Xenos!

A small note to all: autodynamics has changed their site to indicate that this is indeed a sedan-only swap. Just for the record, of course!
Too bad: I would've liked to see these on my coupe. If anyone does see a coupe version, please let us know!

No they are not. These are fakes for halogen bulbs. OEMs are BIX with all the other stuff that goes along with it.
