Need help with this AMG disc
I just got the attached AMG gear lever top-disc, for lack of a better word, however, I am unable to figure out how to remove the old top-disc as shown in the other attached picture with a red arrow pointing to it.
Can anyone please help?!?
thanks!

New development!!!
Thanks for the advise advans I'm probably going to try that.
The info I've just received is that the AMG disc is supposed to be sold together (read already fitted) in a AMG gear shift lever. I believe the part number for the gear shift lever (anthracite) is A209 267 2710. So you would have to order this and tell them that it should be fitted with that AMG disc (part# A171 267 0134). Otherwise they might not sell the AMG disc alone as the standard disc in the gear lever needs to be pried out and there is a chance of damage when attempting this maneuver.
Please remember to confirm which AMG gear shift lever is correct for your car before ordering and ask that that AMG disc be inserted.
That's all for now. As for me, I will have to flirt with the danger of damaging the gearshift lever!

Is it possible to simply stick the disc on top of the existing one? See if you really like it prior to surgery on the knob itself.
How about a disc with GMW instead of the initials of those AMG fellas?
My car has a Star logo in the gear shift knob.
I don't see the star on your picture, do you have keyless go?

Thank you all for your comments! I successfully pryed it off and attached the AMG one. The old one had some sort of very thin double sided sticky tape. The pics are attached down below. I also fitted an AMG steering wheel.
GMW instead of AMG LOL that's an interesting one.
No keyless go.
