C320 Sedan Questions?
Is there anything out there performance wise to make the C320 a little faster? Just so its a little more fun to drive
Also, how responsive is the touch shift, can you manually control it pretty well? Like off a stop light can you manually start in first gear, and shift to second when you want to, then third when you want to, etc? Same with downshifts?
Thanks for the info

A box on 4 wheels
Theres alot you can do your your c320 to make it more enjoyable to drive. Use the search option! Examples: Aftermarket Exhaust, Green filter, Pulley kit, ECU upgrade, those are a couple im pretty sure theres more out there
And yes you can control what gear you want and when you want it. And overall most people let the computer to do the autoshifting, but its quite responsive.

Example, if you click it to "1" and floor it and immediatly put it to "2" it will not shift till the computer thinks it should (about 6,200 rpm's).
If you have it in any gear, and it reaches redline, it will shift up.
If you try to downshift and the car thinks you will be too close to redline (i think anything over 5k) in the lower gear, it will not allow you to downshift.
I understand what your asking... I've had the "auto-stick" in a previous car, which was WAY more fun for the driver as you were given complete control. Even to the point where you could put it in "3" at a dead stop and floor it, and it would lug the engine like a true stick shift. This mrecedes system is essentially an automatic not an autostick. The only benefit i have found for manually shifting the car, is for back country winding roads, where you want to keep your rpm's high for the curves.
