MikeSSw203's Project C230
Exhaust tone is perfect in my opinion not raspy or twangy. Deep melo tone since I also add a OEM resonator before the straight thru muffler. Piping is OEM size muffler shop was able to use the stock hanging points. I may change the muffler later on to something with an oval cainister. The round canister doesn't fill up all the space underneath.
Mike has been around for a little while. He just brought up one of his original threads instead of starting a new thread (something ALL NEWBIES should use as an example). Look at the first post date.Another good example is Saprissa's A La Mode thread. Instead of starting a whole new thread for every single mod he has, there is 1 distinctive thread that is specifically identifiable to Saprissa.
Yeah I plan on getting them eventually maybe afer I do the rear spoiler lip. No rush its a simple mod that can be obtained easily. I think the thin lines will flow well with my wheels.
Thanks, I do my homework and use all resources avaliable in blueprinting my projects. Newbs gotta realize what their intentions are for thier car in the long run and what their budget is for each mod and most important USE THE SEARCH BUTTON. Lifes hard, can't got through life asking questions. You have to get answers for yourself.

would come down to the better driver as his is 6spd also.
Thanks! Rear muffler is a HKS Klasse its basically a HKS dragger with a different tip. It took a while to piece together got the tip of a used w202 rear muffler but the canister was rusted, so I ended up buying a new canister. I found a C320 complete exhaust including flanges and resonator locally and cut of the rear muffler and welded the HKS onto it. End product was a cat back bolt on/bolt off exhaust. I can easily go back to stock if I wanted. Total build cost was still alot cheaper than an Esienmann or Remus.

You will be the 1st to know.
Thanks! I am going to get the hood smoked/tinted so from a distace you can't tell its CF but when you get closer you will still be able to see the CF weave. May also do the same with the front lip since I have a couple of chips from my daily freeway commute.
Well anyways...one day I had about 3 others in my car...and he was alone in his (he also has 2 12" subs...really extraordinary heavy box too)...when we went from a dead stop...I would take him by half a car length up until we hit 65...that's when he would pull off on me and just pull by 2 car lengths (then stopped due to traffic light)...next run...I had it in shiftronic (or whatever it's called) and i had the same results....even though the IS300 runs an Inline-6 (I think)...we pull on those with our low end torque...but when you get up to highway speeds...they just pull off cause of the extra horses they got i guess

Now my question to Drex, Flip or Buellwinkle is would the car go into limp mode because of this or is that lack of power caused by the leak?

Went shopping for parts. Removed the front bumper again and its was the outlet side that poped off. Replaced all the couplers and clamps. I used longer couplers and placed the clamps further away from the edges. Tighten the ***** out of them. Car is running good
took it around the block @5000rpm a couple of times. I'm gonna wait til Friday to really test it out on the freeway. Bad news is my CEL is still on. Anybody in Socal have a OBD2 scanner/reset tool that can reset my errors?
Intercooler features superb quality highly efficient bar and plate construction. Our quality cast end tanks ensure evenly distributed airflow and low-pressure drop. Our intercoolers are now pressure checked to 150psi and come with a 1-year warranty against manufacture defect
Core Size, 6" X 22" X 3.5"
Overall lenght 28"
2.5" inlet/outlet
600 CFM flow rate
400 HP efficient
less than 1psi pressure drop

Anyways my sprintbooster came in today. I purchased the manual version.
Install was easy but had to do it twice since it rubbed against the steering. Just tied it into a pretzel and put it back in. It does what it promises reduces throttle lag. I know better than to hope for a HP increase. Before feathering the throttle would do nothing now when I do it the car will actually react. Alot better for those rolling encounters.
It works well with my driving style since I am not the type off drive that just floors it and brakes then floors it and brakes again. Going though a turn smoothest is always faster. I feel it will give me better control of the car though turns since won't have to floor it to get the car to react the way I want it to. Think of it as a finely tuned gas pedal. Makes the car feel like the throttle is cable driven.
The car is more jerky now on regular driving not the smooth MB ride. My feet have to adjust to it now gotta give less gas when letting off the clutch. I'm very satisfied with this product.
In no way am I saying it made my car faster. It just made my car more sensitive and better to control with my driving style. Example on the twisties not 1/4 mile drag (I have accepted that our cars are slow 1/4 mile leave that arena to the C32/55 torque monsters) if one car has all the power mods and a *****ty driver vs. the same car bonestock with a skilled driver; my money would be on the skilled driver. Remember with great power comes great responsibility.
Fully pivotable to film drivers view out front and side window. Won't work on rearview mirror since it has a different angle. Only use for special events. It requires removing the sunvisor and mounts to the same holes. Hope to get lots of use out of it driving to Rosebowl. I did this since I don't have it as easy as you guys with autos to film while driving. It was either this or a helmet cam
I plan on getting more fender work done but just too lazy.

BTW, how much you paid for the SB?
