I am going nuts!!

2 things....One, I haven't slept well cuz I've been on this forum and on the calculator, and thinking about shifting #'s from my trade-in and hopefully, my new 2005 C230's MSRP/Invoice

Two, I've been lurking in the Classified section on this forum!!! (and I still haven't gotten my C yet!

!!!..(I have an appointment with the Benzo dealer today!!!), can't wait to get off from work and cash in the check!

Just gotta share my excitement with you guys/gals here (and THANKS SO MUCH for all your help with the ammo to see the dealers)

Nice Back2Benz! I really wish you the best of luck. Hopefully, by tomorrow, we'll be chatting with you on opinions of what to do first...

thanks drexappeal!...pics of your car (and other dark colors) made me want to get one too, but I park outside and I am a clean/dust proof freak...so I had to turn that down...but a black benz is a benz not to be messed with! ...my wife loved the granite grey, but it's hard to find now on the 05s! I'm going with brilliant silver with light package, sunroof package, and perhaps entertainment package...had to find one with the light and sunroof package for sure!

**please pursuade me NOT to mod...please! :p

You have to mod, I think that is a rule around here! You will see what everyone else is doing and you will have to do it too. It is a sickness my friend, be prepared! :p

Granite Grey is an awesome color IMO. Actually, before I decided to order my car, I was about to buy a Granite Grey C. As for the dark color and parking outside, I can definitely identify with that because my car is outside majority of the time (except when I come home early and have dibs on the garage). Regardless, it's a pain in the butt, but so worth it to have my color.

Brilliant Silver will always be a classic and nice looking color. Can't go wrong with that. And yes, you are smart for looking for models with the lighting and sunroof package. That's funny you mention that because, initially when I was gonna get the Granite Grey C, they told me it had the bi-x. When they called back a 2nd time, they told me it didn't have it and I immediately ordered my car...lol...I didn't realize how much money I had saved until I saw how much it was through Steve to purchase and install (plus the fact that the dealership told me bi-x had to be on the car already in order to have it and could not be placed on the car after-the-fact).

As for persuading you NOT to mod...wrong forum for you and wrong person to ask that...I tried to convince myself that I wouldn't mod this car, that it is great as is...in the beginning...now, I'm not even half-way with the mods I want to do. :v

Too stiff a ride?...oh man, I was $100 per month away from trading my 230 in for a 2004 C32!...lol...guess it makes a difference if a wifey has some input in the decision. Either way, keep up the search and hope you find and get what you're looking for.

A few weeks ago, I was thinking that I could get the 02 C32 close to $31k or so that had a trade-in of low $29k from KBB...never really pursued it any further due to expired warranty and wife didn't like it too much...but wow...i would've loved to have that too....

but the C32 you were looking at was an 04!!!...I would've gotten it for $100 bux more regardless of what the wife said!! :v hahaha

No wife on my part to help in the deicison, which made it worse for me. It was an '04 with less miles than my car had at that time and it was listed at $41,000 including taxes, fees, etc...AND only had 9000 miles on it.

The thing is the $100 more per month was not taking into consideration increase in insurance (due to supercharged v6) and also gas guzzler fee in Cali..., plus adding on another 1 year and 1/2 of payments.

Basically, I'm barely making it work with my C230 (and other bills), so to add on that extra 1 bill would've killed me...LOL...oh well.
