Anyone have a C350 yet? if so please write up what you like about it and what you dislike about it. And how is the 7 speed trany? also did you test drive the C350 luxury sedan/sport.what made you pick either the sport or luxury version. And last but not least what discounts are they giving you?

I test drove one yesterday. I'm really thinking about changing my '02 430 for a C55, but have not been able to test drive one of those yet. So I went in for service and decided to try out the 350 to see how it feels on the inside.

I liked it, but was not too impressed with it. The steering felt a little "soft" and the acceleration from a full stop was a little jerky. The hip room is a little small for my taste, I'm not a big guy but I like to have a little room.
The suspension was nice and it had an overall solid feel for a smaller car.

Anyway, I'm biased because of my E Class, and I think I will wait a bit longer and see what comes next before making any moves. After driving the E55 I think no other car is going to live to my expectations.

i read from maz. that 7Gtronic is jerky and self changing gears too frequently, any comments on this supposed to be best transmission of MB

I've driven two cars with the new automatic, and they've both been absolutely smooth - better than any car I've ever been in. Can't explain the discrepancy between my experience and whatever else you've heard, and won't try....
