I had a 2000 325i, I test drove the 240, the 325 was better, test drove my friends 330xi, compared to my c320, that was one hella good ride, but i bet the c350 is god compared to that =]

I had a C240 and a C230. I drove a couple '06 325i's. The BMW WINS

thx for all comments.
So as I thought the E90 is magic, don't want to miss this car, so ordered a 330i with adaptive steering aleady.

And the winner is....

I have been a Mercedes buyer for many years and still favor MB products when I go shopping for new cars. With that being said, my wife who likes a smaller car detested the C-class. Forgetting the more subjective issues such as styling and "fun", she test drove both and the 330xi won hands down on comfort, handeling and features.

My experience with the BMW has been identical to hers. The 330xi is a tight little rocket with a feel unlike anything in the Mercedes line. It is all wheel drive AND the sport package, a combination unavailable in the C-class. With nearly every option included, the car was $50k, but worth every penny. I'd buy it again, tomorrow !

Driven both. Yesterday I test drove a 325/6sp/sport and after the drive I felt as if I had gotten off the roller coaster with that fun giddy feeling after.

The salesman had me do 90mph into a 90 degree curve (traffic sparse) from a freeway to freeway onramp. Wow! No problems from this machine. And the ride is plush IMO.

Needless to say this will be my next car. Plus the gas mileage is the same as the c230 v6 and "about" a second and a half faster, seems ironic. Great engineering.

Now, which color/combo. Hmmm
