Unhappy Ipod for Comand w203 (A 203 827 52 42)

is it possible to install Ipod on navigationsystem comand? the model is
(A 203 827 52 42).

CD COMAND uses the ICELINK in place of the CD stacker.

DVD COMAND uses the iPOD kit

by CD stacker you mean we would lose the option of it?? so cd stacker(changer) or ipod only?

yes that is correct. in older d2b based comands, you lose the changer with the use of icelink. In newer MOST based comands, you lose your aux input.

I guess the generic stereo input AUX port would work just fine.

Not to sure on command but on my audio 20 I had a bunch of wires connected to this sort plastic connectorwich you had too undo and add like an extension (y lead) for the ipod when I plugged it all in cd changer no longer worked but I just found the cd changer plug and plugged it in on the plug at the radio, if that makes any sense.

sorry i don't know all the correct terms!

The installer made a mistake. He didnt connect the fibre optic to the new connector.
