Brabus K3
Final Rims&Tire Dilema
Hello,
I have to take a final decision.
Now I have original Brabus Monoblock VI 17*8 ET 30 225/45 all around. GoodYear F1.
I wanted to change to Brabus Monoblock VI 18*8.5 ET30 and 18*9.5 ET35. Pirelli Rosso.
I tought all was ok, but I have read that 225 in a 8.5 wheel is to stretched and I would have no rim protection, and that 255 on a 9.5 wheel will be a lot to stretched and the tire wont touch the roads in the borders and too much in the center. Also, I will have no rim protection at all at rear.
I don't know why Brabus don't do 18*8 and 18*9.
It is safe to do the change? What will I lose doing it, etc...
Best Regards and thanks.
Ruben.

Ruben,
they will definitely look nice, just like that picture above.
But like Frank says, be very very careful near the curbs and go slowly over bumps. Don't want to curb-rash or dent that lip.
