Need Help Fast!

I did a search and couldnt find anything.

i own a 2001 C200 Kompressor Sedan.

My Driverside (Australian) rear window has been dislodged from its winding mechanism.

I need some info on how to take apart the door trim. And any info with regards to the Airbag deployment etc

I want to try and fix this tonight if i can, as i need my car tomorrow.
From what i understand, it cant be a fuse as the switch and winding motor still work. So i believe the glass has come away from the winding mech.

PLEASE HELP!

Regarding Help

I disagree jlee...people on this forum have been of great help to me in the past...just don't expect to get 'instantaneous' help....some of us actually have to work.

DC, I wish I could help also. You might want to try Sunman or MBenzNL, as I'm sure with all the OEM replacement mods they've done, they could probably help you do what you need to do.

This is a common problem and has been fixed with updated window to regulator fasteners. I replaced the front regulator and clips but not the back. Back should be easier, I had the passenger one done under warranty. If you search enough you'll find pictures....I did. I <think> this is how the back panels come out....the plastic grab handle is split along its length and if you look close you'll find a slot along this split on the door side of the handle. Insert screwdriver in slot and gently push/wiggle and it will come apart. Torx screws inside holes in handle. Another torx screw is behind the SRS plastic cover/badge on the door. Unscrew and remove door lock pin. Remove screw and plastic surround at door latch. Pull panel out starting at bottom and work your way up. The panel hold downs are plastic pins larger than the hole they mate with and contract/expand under force when removed/installed. Once loose push whole panel vertically (sometimes requires much force) to remove it from the door frame. Ignore SRS bag as you don't have to mess with it...just make sure you don't have your key in the ignition while all this is going on. The regulator, window, connection holes in each, will be accessible . You may have to raise or lower the regulator so you can access the holes properly and have room to install the new clips. I believe the updated clip number is 203-720-01-14. The work order for the back window only showed one clip....and the front windows have two.
