Cold Feet

So heres the deal.
I have been planning on getting a new car for the last 2 or 3 months. I was basically set on getting an 06 c230 lease. The only contingency is that I have to payoff my current lease and sell my car before I get a new one. I sold my car but the next day the A-Hole backed out on the deal. So now that I have had some time to really think over my decision, Im looking at other cars and trying to come up with a comparison. The main ones I am looking at are the new 325 BMW, new Lexus IS 250/350, Infiniti G35 coupe and obviously the c230. Has anyone made some of these comparisons in their own experiences and how did you break the cars down?

The only competition for a MB in my opinion is from another German car.. Audi A4, or BMW... the Japanese are just glorified Datsun's and Toyota's..

I agree, I like the G35 and the Acura TL but they don't ride or handle as good as the german cars. Plus the interiors imo look cheap on the japanese cars. Test drive them all so you don't second guess yourself later. I just went through the same thing. I was almost 100% set on getting the TL until I drove the C230. Picked up my C230 the next day.

I test drove the G35 coup. Very nice vehicle. I didn't like the dash board as much as I like the C230's. Also The G35 is much smaller inside than the C. The G35 with the 19'rims looks great though, and I seriously thought about getting one, but I am very happy that I went with the C230. As someone else stated, nothing compares to the ride of a German car.

As for the BMW's My mom has one, and for the most part they seem to be more powerful, but I don't like the new body style.

2008 . RX 350.
I was looking at :
TL (nice but fwd )
G35 ( interior bad cheap plastik . . 3 of them on every block )
A4 (looks like vw,new style not for me)
325 (dont like new style)

c 230 sport I like inside out, even what it has less HP, dont care about it anymore. plus i realy wnted to try that new 7speed.

its all about what YOU like, go test all of them
and get one what YOU like.

the G35 would handle better than the C230. The new IS is probably more fun to drive than the C. The only beef I have with Japanese cars are their overrated horsepower rating (if you guys have read the new SAE testing method made Japanese cars lose HP in the rating instead of some gain for American or European cars.)
