some (Coupe) things that take some getting used to...
You gotta order yours from Steve ASAP.
wouldn't want a Benz that didn't have them.
If this deal with the SL goes through, I'm going to retro-fit them on that car as well.

I believe Doug, ordered his convex mirrors from Steve, before his Coupé had even arrived at the dealer. And once the car arrived at MBSD, he asked one of these "cool" SA's to install.
In taking my Coupé to MBSD these past 2 years.... they actually come over to my car to see what new Euro-only OEM MB gadgets I have added to my Coupé....
Parktronic, IMS, Convex Mirrors, Euro COMAND, Euro-spec Bi-X, Climatronic, Speed Limiter, Power Folding Mirrors, Full Switch Row, AMG sways, AMG brakes, AMG spoiler, AMG full body kit, AMG interior trim, SOS Button in Overhead, 2005 upgrade (side blinkers, taillights, grill, armrest, wipers), etc.......

Just kidding. I have to get one someday.
I always thought it was funny that the bad guys in film and TV back in the 80's almost always drove an SEC

??? Huh? Never had that problem. Guess I'm used to it.
If anything the thick pillers on the windshield used to throw me off...
hide a whole car even.
2. Pano roof goes seemlessly from "flip-up" to "slide-open", whereas sedans do these things separately.
Wrong.
3. Spare tire came uninflated, and now I can't seem to uninflate it as small as it was. Tough to cram back into well. Neat compressor, though.
Never had that problem. Fit back NP.
4. Wicked dark back there where the spare is.
Get a flashlight, or call for assistance.
5. Adjust headrest at all and seat won't flip forward without hitting sun visor.
??? Push the headrest down when you pull it forward.
6. No rear cupholders. (y'know, for the kid)
True.
7. Them big-a** doors is hard to open.
Whiner. The small doors on the sedan are hard to get in and out of, and
I hit my head and back on the piller.
8. Car is way too much fun to drive. I had hoped for 30mpg, but flooring it all the time has me getting only 24 :-(
Very True!
9. Stock looks too good to mod.
OK, maybe you're not a whiner
Of course, there are also some cool improvements over my W202:
1. CD changer in glove box.
Yes
2. Left side stalks seem better arranged. No more hitting the cruise control when signalling.
3. Steering wheel radio controls. How did I ever reach all the way over there?
