In my old '04 C320WZ, there were slots right next to the cigarette lighter, which is directly in front of the pop-up cup-holder.

more the reason,
why people should be very very specific as to what year & model they have.

As the W203 / CL203 have evolved from 2001-2004 and now 2005-2006
many things are obviously not the same.

- From D2B to MOST.
- Instrument Cluster changes
- CD vs DVD Nav
- 2005 exterior facelifts
- armrests
- halogen clears vs Bi-X
- Euro vs US options

Almost leads one to wish, that there would be a separate section
for 2001-2004 and 2005-2006 W203's
and another section for CL203's.

But, nevertheless, it's all still the same chassis, just many new features that when asking questions, one must know that what's on your car is not necessarily what's on everyone else's cars.

I was always pretty sure it was for cards... i just never really used it. I put my registration in the little compartment in the glove compartment. Dunno if it's still, around, mines an 02. It's the lil chrome plastic thingy taht opens up. Blah i'm bad at explaining things

Wow, I never really thought about that.

CitronC230K_03, was the new arm rest a direct install or did you have to do some modding in order to get it to fit properly?

not to mention changes like SAM's and instrument cluster modules, rear view mirror with ambient lighting, loosing standard features like IR sensor on passenget door, vanity lights, the list can go on.

it's pretty much a direct install, but you have to buy all the new pieces.
I didn't do a write-up on it, but it wasn't too difficult for me to install, so just about anyone can do it.

2004-05 Arm Rest
- A 203 680 08 82 cover - 9D12 (charcoal) $110
- A 209 683 04 08 under panel $23
- A 203 680 02 34 frame $20
- A 203 xxx xx xx compartment floor w/ or w/out UHI console
- TELE AID buttons
