Any sound clips of the Carlsson exhaust? Many people have been asking for a sound bite, but nobody has produced.

Is the sound any different from stock?

thanks for highlighting the differences. now, i'm confused. it says "C320" at the back and "SPORT" on the fender. looks like i really need to do more reading.

could it be a C320 Luxury Sedan (as mentioned by xxbenzc230kxx)? you seem to be a real expert on this. thanks.

 

I think it is a C320 luxury sedan with Sport sticker on the side......cuz there is chrome trim on the door handles, and no "sport" body kit

it still looks pretty high to me. it seems like the stock 05's and up are lower, guess now eibach for me...

although, I am not a big fan of the chrome headlight rings, but it's all G.

 

looks like the 320's v6 to me. you most likely have the luxury and the previous owner was a tard and put the sport badge on (and on only one side too!)

what trim do you have on your interior? if it's "wood" you have the luxury, AL you have the sport...

 

I much prefer the wood trim as opposed to the metal trim. Ekimpay, it looks pretty sporty to me.

the sport body kit was not added to the W203 Sedan until 2005.
All 2001-2004 Sport Sedans AND Luxury Sedans have the same body kit.

Luxury Sedan had the additional chrome trim on the door handles, interior wood trim, and generic twin exhaust tips pointing down.
Sport Sedans came with obviously the "SPORT" badge on the front quarter sides, patterned aluminum interior trim, large oval exhaust tip, and some other options/perks....

Mods:

I sprayed my windows with a light blue aerosol spray paint to have the sport effect

I banged my side skirts so that its contoured to look sporty and not round

I bought a sport badge from a Mercury dealer (cheaper) and put it in front quarter sides

Installed a front axle from a Jeep Grand Cherokee so that it's 4MATIC

 

LOL...probably the previous owner put the sport sticker on the side...and its only on the driver side too.

It is a regular C320 = WOOD TRIM

 

Boy, it sure is good you got the AWD...otherwise you'd be stuck on that overgrown lawn..

thanks everyone. after further reading, i do have a C320 Luxury Sedan (wood trim, 16" stock wheels, luxury ride). i should have done more research before i bought the car. i really thought it was stock.

this thing put me off ... (and on one side only)
