I know these were available in limited quantities a while back. I did a search and nothing came up in the forums. Anyone know who still sells these?

Steve had small amounts a while back. I know you can still buy them new from AMG.

hopefully get it installed this or next weekend, when I get back from SEMA (Las Vegas).

i think jose (mig888) has one in his car and that is one of the sickest steering wheels around....very very limited quantities.

I've been waiting for this one, for about a year now. But can't wait anymore.
I'm ecstatic !

We should have an AMG F1 Safety Car steering wheel party !!
I'm hoping my other AMG parts will be able to trickle in from Affalterbach sometime next year. Now it's looking like June/July before any more progress is done. In the meantime, still hoping on finishing:
- DISTRONIC
- UHI w/ VC
- rear Euro-Plate bezel
- TV Tuner
- some other minor Euro programming

Cool, let's have a new steering wheel party. Yours will probably installed before mine since I have to wait for it to be shipped from Europe. I think I saw the F1 Safety Car - AMG steering wheel on Mark's car and it looked real nice.

Lol damn, all you socal people are having an F1 safety car steering wheel party lol. I don't ever see myself parting with it! It's absolutely beautiful and even matches the brabus illum shifter perfectly (yeah Pshek, I got one afterall!)

it certainly looks good, but I don't like suede/alcantara on steering wheel because over time the material will ***** up creating little bumps/hard spots which could chafe your hand.

If there was a coupe version of that F1 sedan steering wheel it would be fantastic!!!
I don't like much the 4 piece steering wheel from the sedan, but the 3 piece coupe sport steering wheel is another thing

LOL....

it is often referred to as the "Medical Car" or "Safety Car" steering wheel, because MB/AMG supplies those cars for the FIA's Formula One (F1) circuits.
The Medical Car was an AMG C-Wagon for a while, and the "Safety Car" has been an AMG C-Sedan, and most currently an AMG SLK. The Steering Wheels in question,
actually came from one of many (albeit limited quantities) of these F1 Medical or F1 Safety AMG cars.
