back dash fake grill?
I got a 05' C230K sedan with harman kardon sound upgrade. There appears to be two audio grills on the back dash where the back headrests are. However, I could not hear sound coming out from those two "speakers". I asked my MB dealer here in N. Cal about my concern and they told me that those two grill are fake...and there are no actual speakers in them...??!!! I could not believe MB would do something like this (especially it is a sound upgrade), nor could i believe MB dealer would say something like that. I searched the forum and some people were saying that the back dash speakers are subwoofer and subwoofer port (?), respectively.
Who is right? Please help. Thanks.

Too many to list
If you have the harmon/kardon upgrade system, there's a subwoofer that's 6.5" and a 2" midrange speaker on the rear driver's side. The grill is labeled "harmon/kardon." The other side...there's only the 2" midrange speaker. In my opinion, this upgrade system isn't worth the money at all compared to Acura, Infiniti, and Lexus. But at least, it's better than the harmon/kardon in the '05 3-series. Now, that's what you call a total waste of money on a terrible system.

Hopes this helps, I'm too lazy to scan the paper so I just took a picture of it!
This is the paper I got at the LMT, its the HK 12 speaker system in the 2005+ C class... It also shows the coupe and wagon.

I wonder if that can be installed on newer cars? All I got was a first aid pouch thrown into the trunk. There are two velcro strips in the pocket on the drivers side of the trunk to hold it in place. (Although currently being used for Multivariable and Diff EQ text books, perfect size!!!)
