Dont know how many of you guys remember me, thought I would drop in and say hey and see what all has been going on. I am actually about to be back in the C230 forum (I am about to purchase my fiancee a c230 sedan), but an update on my car I now have an 05 SL500 so you guys will have to check the SL forum if you want to see the new pics of the car and whatnot..so, how have things been?

woah, a blast from the past. what have you been driving?

 

Oh man it has been one messed up year and a half. I was with this girl of almost 6 years and I had bought her a VW Beetle for Xmas of 03. In the early part of 04 I picked up an IS300 that I spent more money on than almost the cost of the SL. I had put the IS in here name because it was not paid for and she was going to build some credit (bad move I know, my financial advisor almost feel over). In the process I was looking for a house. Well, we broke up, she took the IS and gave me back the VW. I drove it around (still have it, great car for gas) but finally got the itch to buy a car.

Since we have broke up I met an old friend of mine that I grew up with. We hit it off and the next thing ya know we are dating, now engaged getting married May of 2006. Other than that nothing much. how about yourself?

 

wow! how can i top that story. just workin and going to school. im not gonna preach about putting the car in her name , we all learn lessons the hard way.

welcome back though. are you gonna get a pre-owned C230 or the new V6 C230?

I remember you...I used to have a different member name and plus I was on this site almost every day! Anyway, congrats on your return and your engagement! Sorry to hear about your...fiasco? What's the specs for the C230 and color choice your buying?

 

To be honest I am not sure at this time. Hannah (my fiancee) is still up in the air on a few options/colors she wants. What was your old user name?
