Brake lining wear indicator after brake job?

I replaced the sensor's on the front but wasnt aware that there is one on the rear and that was the one I needed to replace. I didnt have a new one right then so I re-used one of the ones off of the front that wasnt wore down. After start up the wraning comes on. Ill skip it to the next screen and it wont come back on untill the next time I start up. Is the code stored and needs to be cleared? I tried to clear it with my Snap on scanner but it wont comunticate with the car.Any Ideas?

I'm assuming you have a C320? The warning should go away on its own after the faulty sensor is replaced. 1st pull each sensor plug and look in the hole that they go on the caliper and make sure the two pins are not bent. While the sensor plug is out connect an ohm meter across the two holes and you should have a closed circuit. If all the pins are OK and the sensors read 0 ohms make sure they are plugged all the way into the holes in the caliper.
