Where to buy rotors/pads for Jan2004 230k sports sedan?

I've looked everywhere for pads and rotors for my Jan 2004 230k sports sedan. Apparently the rotors and pads are different then the normal 230k sedan and also different then the 2004.5 230k sports sedan which uses brembo equipement. Does anyone know where I can get these parts for my car? My mileage is at 40k and this is my first front brake change. The dealership wants 570 to do this job. I asked if they could just machine down the rotors but they said no as it is "unsafe". Thanks for the help.

Just do it yourself, the job is extremely easy. You do have to get a few tricky tools to do the rotors, so keep in mind when you schedule your time so you can run to the store.

As far as pads, I stuck with OEM. I would just stay away from OEM rotors. My stock rotors were warpped at 12K, I replaced them at 23K with new OEM rotors at $65 each. After 2500 miles, I am starting to feel they are warpping again despite a break-in that I did for it. I would look for Brembo blanks replacement from different online websites or even try NAPA or something

If you don't have the big brake kit that came on the 2004.5+ C230 & C320 sport sedans, then go Stoptech for OEM replacement rotors.

My brakes are NOT brembo. Stoptech does not make rotors for the W203 sports edition sedan. Tirerack only sells kits for 3K. I am just looking for OEM rotors and pads. Mine lasted 40k which leaves me pretty satisified. Does the January production 2004 sports sedan 230K use the same rotors and pads as a normal C230k sedan?

early 04 has the same brakes as the 2003 230k sport sedans.
