05 c230 Kompressor Sedan questions
I bought an 05 C230 Kompressor Sedan and the engine is very noisy and theres a high pitch sound coming from the engine compartment.....I would like to ask you guys that owns one if this is normal or not?

It's normal for the 4-banger to be very loud and very rough at first start-up...especially putting it into reverse. The front end will shake and makes this nasty rattling sound. Even when it's warmed up, you'll still hear a high pitch whining sound, which I think is the supercharger. If I knew it was this loud and rough, I could've gone with something else.

well, some people have different tastes. some people on the board (not me) have done things to make that high pitch whining noise even louder. just turn up the stereo and it'll drown it out...
