Can anybody give some info on Aftermarket alarm systems that could be fitted to the 2002 C320?

I'm looking at a C320 with no Mercedes Alarm system.
I would have liked a Clifford system, but I've been told the Low voltage wiring loom on the car makes most alarm systems incompatible.

Any help would be appreciated!

I thought ALL '02 C320's had alarms installed at the factory.....standard

I think German market cars have it as an optional extra. For some reason, this one didn't get it! D'oh!

Viper and Clifford are great alarms, engine kill and lighting adapters are available for Benz low voltage systems....

Can you give me details of the Clifford system that could be fitted please?
Have you seen / done the install?

Would the Avantgarde 4 system work on the Merc C Class?
