Stock Shifter (Auto)
From my understanding, there are 3 kinds of shifters available for the "automatic" coupes:
1. Vinyl/Plastic Top Shifter (no picture)
2. Leather/Plastic Top Shifter
3. All Leather Shifter
I am from Canada and I ordered the leather shifter/leather steering wheel and I got the "leather/plastic top shifter". Did MB make a mistake and should have given me the "all leather" shifter instead? Can someone verify this?

I don't know if they made a mistake, but I just realized that the shift knob I have with my C7 (Evolution) package is not the all leather knob shown in the package description and in the pics posted above. I have the leather knob with the plastic insert with the shift pattern on it. I blame it on the mad cows. I got a leather interior when everyone, except my sales rep, was saying it wasn't possible.
Edit: I just looked at my shift knob. I think the first picture posted above may be the vinyl/plastic knob. My knob looks like the one in the car with C7, but there is a round plastic button in the top of it with the shift pattern. Sorry, no pics, I don't have a digital camera, and I'm not buying one.

Here in the U.S. i belive there are 2 shifters for the auto.
Plastic. with vinal or leather (or what ever material it is). But thats the non C7 Car.
The C7 package has the full leather shifter. (like i have) Well all they probally do is replace your plastic insert with a leather one for the C7 cars.

The C7 manual has the shift patters in a circle rather than the non C7 have it on a full plastic peice.
the non c7 auto and manuals look the same except the manual has the shift pattern on it.

yeah thats the same as the C7 full leather but they had to stick a circle in there with the shift pattern.
your shifter is still different looking than the non C7 car and u do have more leather on it.
