Damn, I just realized that you guys have what MY's you guys have.

The 2004.5 and prior models have a cup holder that is hidden (sliding lid that covers/uncovers the area the cup holder is located in). When you slide the lid back to uncover the cup holder, there's a small area that has the cigarette lighter and a 10 slot (?) change holder.

I don't have any pics right now, but I'll take some when I get home in a couple hours. If anybody has interior pics of this, could you post when you get a chance.

I'd say have it retro-fitted, but I know the area is a different shape as well...hmmm one thing you guys can do (if you don't have the integrated phone setup) is get a thin closed lid pencil case to put in the top portion of the center console. If I think of any other options, I'll let you all know.

Here's another option...

I was searching for the plastic pencil cases that you could easily cut a hole on the top to drop in coins and place on the top portion of the center console, but I found these also:

http://wansly.en.alibaba.com/product...encil_Box.html

These didn't looked like they would fit perfectly in the top portion of the center lid.

Another thing I was thinking might work for you guys is a pill organizer (just a generic one without the day marked). This way, it could be placed in the center lid and you could seperate them by type of coin (i.e. quarter, dime, nickel, penny and or whichever coins are prevalent for those outside of the US).

Hope that helps a little.

haha, I would do the same thing, but I took the ashtray out and put some foam there so I can conceal my cellphone there... it used to be great until I got my POS Treo 650...

I keep my coins in a sissy looking pouch in the bottom armrest

You don't like it, Phil? My homeboy just got one and he loves it. I was even thinking about getting it before I decided on the Samsung i500 (since it was smaller). No ringtone downloads for my phone, but doesn't matter for business.

it's great for business and doing almost everything. but for basic functions such as calls (volume/dropping/voice quality) it's CRAP. I hate it. I have to use my bluetooth headset 24/7 or else no one can hear me. I went from a Nokia 7610 to this POS and the only reason why I don't go back is b/c I need the Palm functions. Otherwise, this thing would be in the garbage.
