Suggestions for a smoother ride..
I have 2004 C230K Coupe. I really like car and handling but the roads and highways around here suck (NYC) and I'm constantly feeling every bump in the road. I don't know if I'm feeling more because possibly the car is sports tuned or not.
I wondering if there is anything to do to car that will make the ride a bit smoother or any suggestions what next car should be? I want to still have good control but not feel and hear every crack in the road.
Also do most small cars suffer from this? I'm coming from a truck so my experiences different.

my coupes crappy on the streets of nyc too, especially the stock 7 spoke rims... after i changed it to the AMG Double Spoke 209s, they seem a bit better,
but I guess a ssmoother ride would have a larger profile, smaller rim size, change suspension
you should see me drive the BQE in my ML...bumpy as hell

advans, your ML is bumpy too? of course that BQE is i think the worst. I would have thought that would have absorbed the bumps somewhat
Also I didn't think I could put less than 16 inch tires/rims on this car. I was considering changing to snow tires for winter. Would that be the time to change to smaller tires and test?
