New Owner to 2004 C230 Kompressor & MB.
If anyone has information on how to obtain a Fault Code reader other than going to the dealership to be plugged into their computer--please advise.
If anyone knows of any major recalls or general problems I would like to know before calling roadside assistance and getting extremely aggravated.

Thanks!

I believe you just need an OBD II scanner to read the codes... regardless, just take it to autozone and they can do it (pretty sure they do it for free)

I wouldn't say there's any major recalls etc. for the car, but like any other car, it's got it's "issues" that come up. Just read through the forum a bit, and you'll see what others are running in to.

And welcome to the board!
