Lighter stop working
Okay guys, I have a 02 C-coupe. The stupid cig. light stopped working. What do you guys think the problem is?

I have the same problem w/ my 05. well, the cigarette lighter works, but when i go to stick my phone charger or any other electrical device in there it stops working unless i put some pressure to the left or the right on it.. wierd!

I found that if the fuse of the cig adp is out, the radio stop working at the same time.

I think it's just sh*tty design......... i always have to adjust my Radar to work when it's plugged in......... nothing seems to fit snug. In my new tacoma, it comes with 2 outlets and I have actually torn one outlet out because it wouldn't release my phone charger.... now that's too snug! Sigh... whoever corners the market on making adaptive cig outlets will become my hero....

I didnt check the fuse because i know they usually relate to anopther item. Everything seems to be fine.

I actually believed the dealer who told me the lighter only works as a lighter, but that ******* lied to me. He claimed the germans only use it to smoke, doesnt use it for anything else. I found it weird but didnt question it, now i know he is a lying *****.

I will bring the car back in for servfice, thanks for the advice guys.

It's hard to find a service advisor that knows about cars, most of them are just order takers. Be glad that you have a MBZ, getting service on my Z is even harder
