Changing Rear Brakes

Has anyone changed their Rear Brakes on their cars on their own? I've done the front brakes and they weren't too bad but I hear that the rears are harder because of the parking brake. Does anyone have any type of instructions?? Thank you..

I don't know about the 203, however, on the 202 and the countless MB models prior...the parking brake on the MB is actually separate from the rotors and corresponding brake assembly on the rear wheels. It's actually akin to a drum brake residing inside the rear rotor/hub assembly. It's very easy to change the rear brake pads, remove the wheel and you'll clearly see what the job entails.

Typically once you remove the wheels, you'll need a large screwdriver to back up the old pads. Once you have done that, you can remove the cross pins and simply drop in the new pads.
