My 04 c230k won't do anything. The key won't even turn. Please tell me it's just the battery?! The tow light is blinking. And the doors won't unlock or anything...dead.

 

you can manually open your car door using the metal key. Did you try puttig in the smartkey in the ignition? if so, did the engine turn over? It might be something as simple as a fuse that's blown for door locks. If so, have you tried jumping it? Check the owners manual for fuse panel locations... under hood and on driver side of dash are the ones I know off top of my head.

 

Sorry, I shoulda put more info in my post. I opened the car and the key won't turn. Like the ignition is locked. I called the dealership and they said they would contact roadside assist for me...but I waited half an hour and nothing...so I called roadside myself and they said they haven't been notified of my situation yet! I can't wait to get rid of this car!

 

tried jumping it yet? Sorry to hear man........ we are finally getting our numbers up in the central florida area.... was hoping to get a meet/greet together one of these days. Let us know how things turn out and what the problem was.

 

They came out and put a new battery in. Works fine now. I can't believe the battery went bad after 2 years though?! Oh well.....

A meet sounds great. I'd go no matter how big or small it was. Keep me posted.
