Confused About A Setting

In my W203... What does the on and off mean for this setting...

Hdlamp Delay Off

What does leaving on "off" do and what about "on"?

Int. Light Delay Off

What does leaving on "off" do and what about "on"?

Like leaving off creates a double negative so does that mean on? Which then means leaving the function in the "on" position, its really off?

Someone, please de-confuse me...

delay off - the light will be turned off immediately
delay on - the light will be turned off after a certain time has elapsed

Yes, if you want a delayed response.

For my headlights, I selected delay off but for the interior light, i selected delay on (because i need time to connect my iPod at night)
