Hello!!

Hello!

I just got my new 2006 C230 Sport three months ago, and I've decided to join this cool forum!

I'll put up pics soon!

Can't wait to see what kind of mods I can do with her!

Hello!

Thanks for all the nice compliments. This is also my first MB. I had a 01 Accord EX V6 "riced" out before I got this car. The fate of that car? Rear ended and TOTALED by a 2004 MB G500 going about 35mph. My Accord looked like a crumpled soda can and was minus a rear end. The damage on the G500? His headlamp was cracked, and he had a few dents and scratches.....but that's it! Talk about a testament to MB's being built like a freaking BANK VAULT.

Thanks to the G500 dude, my insurance paid me enough to put a NICE fat down payment to my new C230 SS.

Wow, talk about going from rags to riches (not that the accord ex v6 was inexpensive)! That's a crazy and good ending, whichever way you spin it. Unlike a lot of people, I don't bag on JDM cars as "rice" rockets. It just depends on how people set their car up. If they set it up like something out of Fast and The Furious w/ the decals allover the place, stickers, etc...then we're going into the "rice" territory. Other than that, I appreciate a nice looking JDM car just as much as a nice looking Euro. Now, which of the two garners more "respect", well that is unfortunately a different story and a Euro will win the majority of the time.

Hehe yeah, I take it back, my Accord probably wasn't "riced" like on F&F....I put 18" rims on them, installed HID projector lights, fog lights, had a Pioneer head unit with Polk speakers, chrome inlays for the instrument cluster, AEM cold-air intake, Mugen exhausts.......and that's about it. I kept the factory rear lights....mostly because I didn't care much for the out-of-style Altezza style units that practically everyone with a Honda had. My parents actually got the Accord for me back in college....I wanted a Merc SLK at the time but......yeah.....you know how that goes. LOL

I definitely love Euro cars more than any other....(not to bag on American or Japanese, it's just a personal preference)

Porsche has got to be my fav car company of all time though! I saw my first 911 Turbo when I was 12 years old, and it was LOVE at first drive-by. Hehe

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! See, you probably had a VERY nice looking Accord. I may not have garnered as much respect or have as much presence as your Benzo, but still a very nice looking car.

Regardless, hope you have just as much fun with the Benz. I know I went from convincing myself that modding a Benz would just be way out of my budget, to almost buying at least 1 mod per month (I've slowed down lately because of budget for rims).

I've been waiting for some better weather to come into Texas, but so far, all I keep getting is this cloudy crap. So here is a couple daytime pics (bad quality) for now. Right now, she's completely stock, but I'm thinking about getting some Kleemann rims!

I'll post better pics once the stupid weather improves......
