2002 C230 coupe , NOt THE AVATAR!!
I drive my C-coupe on Highway 9 and feel the that the tires really sticking on the road.... but that's made me scare if I over steer a little bit my car will end up some place.... iono if my car will roll over if I doing that kinda turn.

The C230 coupe is the first and only car I have driven that's all. So i am not sure if is a good ride or the worse Benz ever made.

I am too, C 180 SC (Europe) I have first car and I did not drive another car...

So I opened this thread for it ..C ( coupe and saloon current model ) comparison with another cars in the curves that which users drove in this forum...

yes I read a lot of review about C current model Coupe and saloon buy before I told never test and never any car I think most important in the roads is curves (corners) especially sharp corners , s curves....

yes there are rules for curves..and they related driving experience too..

and maybe most important things know your car behavior well too..

Mercedes rear_wheel (RW) drive So it is important this type car for rear skid in the corner...

for my car until now no ESP ON in the Curves

c coupe will out handle a sedan

My wife has one of only 50 2005 C320 Sport Coupes in the US and it definately out performs and out handles the 05 SS compressor 4 door and a C320 sedan we test drove both for two days each before we special ordered the coupe.

The geometry of the coupe has the tires closer to the front and rear of the car compared to the sedan and this makes for better weight distribution.

For those of you that think the coupe is not as good looking as the sedan if you could drive a 3.2 Coupe you will change your mind, we did.

Overall, I would say all C-Class cars handle well, with the sport suspended 1st gen Coupes and the AMG C32 being the better ones....until the direct control changes in 05. Frankly, the slow *** 05 C240 with the Direct control package handles nearly as good if not as good as the old sport suspension...and the 05 coupe is outstanding. You guys should spend some time in some really bad handling vehicles to make you appreciate your own rides.

As for the looks, I find the Coupe far better looking than the sedan. Each to his own.

My C32 flashes the ESP light alot in every corner... <-- Very Slow!

Handling sucks if you ask me... at least two levels lower than M3 or 996. being driven both.

But I heard the new C55 is so much better, at least it is faster than a M3.

I seriously thinks C coupe handle as good or better than my C32... especially with sport package with 17", since the worse thing about 203 is our narrow track width, so i see the lighter weight C Coupe has more advantage than my heavy C32, especially in a tight track or narrow roads with continiously corners.

The C32 stock suspension setup are terrible... At least they should have better dampings...

All Mercedes has no LSD anyway... so a tuned Coupe might do better cornering than a sedan i suppose... correct me if i'm wrong.
