this really blows. i would never go to the gettho downtown fullerton area anymore! im freaking mad right now.....parked my car there last night from like 11:30pm till like 1:30am, just having a good time w/ friends, and once we left the bar, freaking 2 of my driver side door pannels got keyed...
people need to respect others property!! i parked my car in the parking space, not parked like an *** or anything, didnt get in fight trying to find a parking... man this really sucks... im so mad!!!!

Dude, I hate to hear stories like this, especially the time is near Christmas. People just don't know how to respect property these days. Other times they are jealous that they can't have what you have. Hope that it can be fixed. Good luck to you.

I feel you man . Samething happend to me after i got out from a surf session. Big deep key mark on the passanger side door. Worst part is that I hand waxed it the day before and it was looking gorgeous.
If only you could catch these *******s in the act...

im using my touch up paint right now.. in the process to see if i can fix it(make it less noticeable.. its really deep and long and everything hope this could cover it up till i have extra fund to repaint the doors.

i remember when Clinton was president, some American kid was found guilty of having vandalized a whole bunch of cars in Singapore or Malaysia and the court system over there sentenced him to receive a number of lashes for his crime. Too bad we don't punish people who vandalize other people's cars like so.

how much is your comprehesive (not collision) deductible. if it's not too much, get it done right immediately instead of doing a temporary fix.

no. i was acturally in downtown fullerton, around the rockin taco, back ally area...
im pretty sure both comprehesive and collision are both $500 dunno if painted 2 doors would be too much over that? cuz if its like 700 or so. ill prolly just pay it out from my pocket... what can you say...
the funny thing is. i talked to the police office there(waiting outside the bar getting ready to bust drunk drivers) and hes like, yea nothing much we can do about it. you can go down to the station and file a report.... and thats about it. went down to the station. the entrance is locked...WTF.. isnt a police station supposed to be open 24/7.... so i was really bummed out so i just left.

I am so sorry to hear read this blkc230k - especially with a gorgeous car like yours.

Unfortunately, in situations like these, there is not a whole hell of a lot you can do.

There are a lot of haters and jealous people out there. I greatly restrict where I go at night time because I am afraid of some drunk fool, who does not give a damn for someone elses property, messing up my car.

I imagine having the doors repainted by an MB dealer will be pricey and over your $500 deductible. If it's a lot over, I'd file a claim. If it's only $100-$250 over, you may be better off paying out of pocket as your premium will likely increase if you file a claim.

Again, my condolences on your car. If you find out who did this, I hope you their ****!

I am always trying to be cautious that I'm not driving the Benz when in certain
parts of town....where old flame might be out and about. That's a guaranteed
keying. Dbl that now that her boyfriend has bought into that revenge mentality. Sad. Have already had the truck vandelized 2x. no proof.

wtf why cant ppl just accept a nice car i got keyed in the same area (by the door handle) but it is a light scratch and im not really gonna bother fixing it i was so upset when it happened, if i were to fix it and it happened again well i think this describes it

For a temporary fix while you figure out what to do, get a bottle of Turtle Wax colored wax with lipstick gizmo. Rub the black lipstick perpendicular to the scratch to fill it in and then use the black wax to clean off the excess.

If it was parked in the bar's parking lot I would have a discussion with the bar owner and let his insurance pay for it.

You should consider changing your comprehensive deductible to $100 after this claim. Also, comp claims will not adversely affect your premium and you will be surprised to learn that lowering to $100 will not increase your rate much at all. It would of course be foolish to lower you collision to anything below $500 as it will result in you paying too much premium.

Just thought I would recommend people call their agents and look into it at the very least.

I am very sad to see your beautiful car get the key job, that is pure jealousy bull****. If people can not take others being successful or MORE successful than them, then they should get a new job, new career or go back to school to make it happen. This is the USA, if you don't like your current situation you can change it.
