2006 C230 Sport Sedan for Track Days etc.
Hello everyone,
We live in Peoria, IL. Thats about 2.5 hours south of Chicago. Im seriously considering a 2006 C230 6spd manual for my daily commute (15 miles), our commute to Chicago on the weekend and a few track days per year. The Autobahn Country Club is about 2 hours from us. Are there any known issues with the 2006 C230 Sport Sedan that would stop me from taking it to the track (ie poor baffling in oil pan, high speed durability etc. )
Thanks in advance
Rich in Peoria

or you can get a 2006 mitsubishi evolution IX or a 2006 subaru WRX STI for about the same price as the C230. Personally, I don't think they look as nice as the C230 but both are super fast and can be used for daily commuting.

2006 MB C230, Black on Black
Electromed is your car all track?
From your posts it seems your interests are all based upon speed. Is this because your car is 100% track? If not, do you ever cruise in your MB?
What type of car do you have a coupe or Sport Sedan? You seem to know alot about the speed of ALL Mercedes Benz's and base you opinion on that, why?
**A car that is street legal has many traits besides being FAST especially if you have a distance driving to your place of employ.**
Merry Christmas.
