'05 C230K and Winter Problems

Wondering if anyone else is seeing the following problems. I live in the Northeast where the temperature is around freezing.

1) I notice in the evening after work, I sometimes have frost on the inside part of my windshield. It's only on the windshield and there is slightly more build-up near the dash. Anyone else have this problem? Could I have a poorly seated windshield? Or is moisture leaking in from the vents?

2) After starting my car up, I hear some sort of liquid bubbling around coming from the dash. What the hell is that? I start the car and the sound is unmistakably some form of liquid be moved around. Sounds like a humidifier or something.

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing either of these problems or can tell me what the heck is going on.

Thanks!

1. Not my windshield, but had that in my rear window on one SUPER cold morning last year. Dealer said they did not see a problem and have not seen the frost return since.

2. I hear the EXACT same noise when I turn the car "on" (not start it). I am assuming it's normal. That, and it does not bother me.

I dont quite get that same sound, but as if something is moving about inside the dash (must be the critters running away from all those energized components hehe)

The noise in itself doesn't sound so serious, just coolant in the heater core moving around. The ice is on the inside of the windshield because your car is wet on the inside. Activate the AC with the heat on for awhile...it normally activates with the defrost, but not with the heat. If youre getting in the car with wet feet, or snow, that's where the extra moisture is coming from. The AC will remove the moisture.
