Thanks

I am thinking of putting my CLK350 rims on her car and getting some 18 inch rims for the CLK. I was uncertain if they were to big.

No they are not. The CLK has a different front end therefore those wheels will have a different offset that those of the W203.

they all use the same offset.

the front structure difference is in the front crossmember. for w209 some suspension part is beefier than the 203 up front for the 500 and 55, but they are basically the same.

It has been posted on here that the front wheels of the CLK have a different offset than the wheels on a regular W203, excluding the C55 which has a CLK type front.

Interesting.

Looking at the tirerack site it shows for a 17" AMG 170 wheel for the CLK: F = 37mm, R = 30mm whereas for the W203 it shows F = ? and R = 34mm.

On the MBUSA site it shows same offset for front but different for rear for the staggered wheels when comparing C350 vs CLK350.

Thanx Frank
