Clicking noise from dash
Hi guys. I am so glad I found this forum. I went to my local mb dealer on Fri. to have them check a clicking noise that occurs on driver side dash above steering wheel just as you start the car. Sometimes the clicking lasts for a couple minutes then ceases. Sometimes it goes away, and comes back for a few seconds. The dealership couldnt find anything wrong...of course. And of course, the car just turned 50495miles......Any suggestions? They said I can bring it back monday and they will probably have to take the dash out, so I really want to get some opinions from you guys. Thanks!!

Did they run a short test? Do a search for clicking in the dash and you will find mult. of suggestions. The first thing that comes to mind is the footwell flap stepper motor. Have them drive the car until they can duplicate the noise. Good luck.
