Fried Salesmonkey

I just received a courtesy call from a woman at MBUSA regarding my issues with MB Princeton. Intriguing that they would wait nine months to contact me regarding the fiasco created by the salesmonkey's inability to order my car. I tried to remain politically correct, saying it's "now a non-issue"...but they should help MB Princeton understand the Mercedes Benz commitment to quality service. She thanked me for my comments and offered the condolence that "they would look into this and take appropriate action"...

So...should fried salesmonkey be served with tartar sauce or tobasco?

Re: Fried Salesmonkey

I've always prefered tartar sauce. Tobasco leaves me with a rash. ...RAB

Don't know! The next time I get my behind in a jam with a "well-meaning" client, I'll have to request it over the red stuff. I'm good for most anything, at least once. ...RAB

It's total BS

I reported a negative experience w/ my dealership and was disappointed in MB's disinterest. They pretty much said that the problem was with the dealership and that it was outside of MB's control. I really thought they would be more concerned that their customers were having bad experiences.

Anyways.....they were very polite, but it was fairly obvious that they were just feeding me a line.

I always get calls from my dealer about how the car is going, any problems, etc. etc. In fact, they call so much it borders on the verge of annoying.

To start there should be a banana, pineapple and Mandarin orange salad. Then the fried sales monkey should be served in a light coconut and ginger sauce with chopped cashews, and accompanied by plantains. Chilled sliced papaya for desert.

Damn Lynn, That sounds good! You must not be from St Louis originally. They don't know what plantains and papaya are there!

I spent my first 28 years in Pueblo, CO and the next 13 in Cheyenne, WY. My little part of the Federal gov't was transferred from Cheyenne to St. Louis in late 1993. We couldn't believe how provincial St. Louis is. Sorry, MB-BOB. but that is a fact.

Once in a restaurant in Puerto Rico I got a steak and seven different kinds of plantain as sides. In Panama they served fried plantains with breakfast. Yummy. The perfect breakfast, however, is pineapple juice, papaya, guava, sticky rice, and two strips of bacon.

well...some of you might remember, I brought "breakfast" (a banana) for the salesmonkey the morning I took delivery of my CORRECTED ORDER car...heheh

Maybe I'll bring fried plantains when I trade the coupe in on the AMG AWD coupe...if they ever make it. After all....a higher class car deserves a higher class banana...

All you really need to do is switch from the Chiquita brand to the much classier sounding Del Monte brand banana.

Don't forget a nice Chianti while enjoying his liver.
