I suggest you get a tune from a reputable tuner within the United States. Though German tuners are great, they simply don't have the same fuel we have here. The fuel in Europe is rated differently and has slight variations from US fuel. For your car to run it's best and safest you want a tune specifically designed for the fuel you run.

We (Stealth Auto / Powerchip ) have software for your car that gains around 15hp and 15ft/lbs. of torque. Additionally, we can adjust your throttle response to make your car much more enjoyable on a day-to-day basis. The software is $690.

I have attached a couple dyno sheets of various MBZ vehicles as eye candy.

Powerchip has been solely tuning European vehicles for the past 15 years which really speaks for itself. With a 14-day money back guarantee you really can't go wrong.

If anyone has any questions please freel free to contact me; I'll always be glad to help.

Customer comments:
The CLK350 is quite fast from factory for its class, but after Powerchip upgraded my ECU, it's significantly better. Better throttle response, same gas mileage, OEM reliability. Before the upgrade, I could slightly break my back tires loose with ESP off, but after the upgrade, I could spin them freely with ESP off. Thanks for the great work Matt & your team. I would not let other tuners to touch my ECU but Powerchip down the the road.

Customer comments:
I noticed the increase in pick-up off the line and the mid range acceleration right away! It seems to have much more pulling power without having to slam on the gas pedal. I am very pleased with the results and recommend Powerchip to anyone else that's looking for that extra push!
Also the over night ECU shipping made this whole process a breeze...
Great power upgrade for the buck!

Car: Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG 5.5 V8
Chip purchased: January, 2003
Testimonial added: 11/2/2003
Customer comments:
I can't believe this works...i just shipped my chip overnight to LA and the following day, I installed it back into my car. Now its just such a fun car to drive. I like to rev it all the way and take advantage of the new rev limit. And the other good thing is, now I can reach my cars maximum speed without it cutting out and hitting the 'speed wall'. Overall, great product, and thanks for the customer service as well...I'll be sure to tell my friends about you guys

Car: Mercedes-Benz E320 3.2
Chip purchased: January, 2003
Testimonial added: 23/5/2003
Customer comments:
My 2nd Powerchip...first one was for my 1995 MB C36 AMG...I loved the difference and I sold it to a friend who continues to run it with no problems, 120,000 miles and nearly 300 bhp. My wife drives our new E320 most of the time and when I snuck the Powerchip into it within a month she asked me, "Did you put a supercharger in this?" No lie, she even felt the difference. Along with my dual K&N Air filters and REMUS Cat-back sport exhaust I went from 221 bhp to 252 bhp, off the line is fantastic with 258 lb/ft of torque. I have the E320 that MB will release in 2004 or 2005 when they upgrade the power, I have it already today. Wayne B. is awesome. Thanks Wayne. response.Write(imgname)

Here is the latest update with our Speed Innovation software:

Well I just got back from Speed Innovation and I am EXTREMELY impressed to say the least. We did dyno runs BEFORE and AFTER the install. I should mention that my car is a 2001 325i Steptronic with a GruppeM intake which yielded ~5HP at the crank.

On to the more important information. This was dyno'd using a Dynapak dyno system, I have provided pictures as well as video links to show you how it was setup. Multiple runs were done for baseline and after and only after we received consistent gains did we save the info as pictured below.

My car was tuned with the standard 325 software that will go into all M54 325's. Software is also available for ALL E46's, M54 and M56 engines. That's right, they have software with similar gains for you M56 folk. In any case, the dynos speak for themselves. Realize this is WHEEL HP and estimated crank is about a 15HP gain and over 20TQ gain.

My impressions of the car after...well the car pulls MUCH more in the lower end where it needed it. In every gear, the car is much stronger throughout the rev band. As you can see, the software is not peaky at all, it maintain's the linearity of the Inline 6 that BMW is so famous for. Please feel free to take a look and let us know what you think!

Pictures of the dyno as well as the dyno itself are below, videos are to follow!

Enjoy!

Actually I was more interested in showing the versatility and proven gains of SI's tuning on ALL vehicles It's called credbility, something I'm not sure you have at the moment.

I think it's paramount to have someone somewhat "local" that has a good rep do the tuning. When your baby starts sputtering or doing something weird, you don't want to have to wait for international shipping for it to be fixed.

Nick - this PowerChip of yours actually reprograms the factory ECU right? if so, does that mean you can make our ESP Off button REALLY turn off the ESP completely? Additionally, could you set the ECU to have two maps, one with the extra hp, and another with say 30hp less so the Valet's don't thrash the car? When my EcuTek reflash got done on my WRX I used to have I could swap maps by turning the key to "ON", pushing the throttle all the way down and punching "defrost"

Yes, Powerchip does remove the speed limiter. Also, they will improve your throttle response.
