that's a sickass hood....haha....i think i'm just going to bring it to like Claridge's MB up in the auto mall plaza in fremont....you think they'd do it for under warranty...i hate dealing with the van ness street mb dealer here...they're so stuck up...i wouldn't be surprised if they haven't ever opened a hood before in their lives even

This also happened to me the other day. I had a short length of copper brake pipe made a small loop at one end gave it a squash with a tap from my hammer a bigger loop at the other end for a handle. Popped off the circlip slide on pipe circlip back on. Sorted till I get a new plastic handle.
