C220 CDI sport ... Driver's door panel removal?
Sorry to butt in on your thread. I'm new to this forum ... wonder if anyone can help? I have a C220 CDI sport, year 2000 model. The door restraining bar that keeps the door open seems to have come adrift, now the door cracks inside when I open it. Also the window won't go down fully? Looks like I need to remove the driver's door panel to access this mechanism. Searched loads of threads, but haven't found any instructions for this particular model? Can anyone help ...thanks in advance.

I need to fix the rear window on the drivers side, is this the same method to be used? My window got stuck at the bottom, and now it won't go back up. The switch works fine, but the window came out the screw that pushes the window up and down.

Actually "Moleskin" is just a generic name. Kinda like Tissue paper.
There are many different manufacturers of moleskin felt but ONLY ONE that manufactures it for auto use. Tint Protector.
It's great to stop rattles and to line things with too.

Are you able to replace that spring without taking out the airbag and the wires for the speakers and airbag? Ie: would you be able to replace the spring with just taking off the door panel and moving it aside with the slack it has with the wires and airbag connected?

This post worked very well for me, Thank You So Much for posting the pics!!!
I had the panels off in 5 minutes flat... Each.
I bought 6 feet of the 3M Ni-Doc and wrapped all of the Aluminum panels in the car.
Thanks again for making the un-install so easy.

2006 C55 AMG
The window on the drivers side of my 06 C55 isnt working. I can hear a grinding noise when I pull the switch to try and get the window up. What could the issue be other than a broken servo/ window motor? Does anyone have a thread and or diagram for that once I get the door panel off? Thanks in advance guys!
