Info on C230K and C230K Coupe

Hi guys,

I currently own a 2005 A4 1.8t Ultrasport. It's a great car, but I have a whole list of really retarded problems with it (buttons falling off/not working, coolant leak, started on fire last year), and the wipers now look like this:

So, I'm really thinking about selling it and buying something else. I need something:
-fun to drive
-can be made fast (I'm also considering an IS300 and S4 twin turbo)
-comfortable (I drive between home and school a lot)
-reasonably reliable (doesn't need to be a Honda, but buttons falling off don't really impress me, dates, or clients!)

I've always liked the C230 K and C230 K Coupe. But here's a few questions, maybe you guys can help me out:
-For anyone who is familiar with A4's and IS', is the C comprably fun to drive?
-Would I be able to make the car run 11's-12's for around $4-6k?
-Are they fairly reliable?
-Are they as Chrysler based as some people say?
-What is the difference between the Coupe and Sedan (besides 2 doors )?

Thanks for any help.
