parktronic : which side of bumpers?
I have my car in my bodyshop for painting and since the bumpers are off I want to install the parktronic wires to make easier to complete the installation at a later date. However I am not sure from which side of the bumper the wires have to come off. I need to know for both front and rear. from the battery side or the opposite side? Please bear in mind that my car is a UK spec one, hence the steering wheel is in the opposite side! Any help regarding parktronik bumper wire installation and sensors would be greatly appreciated!

yes, the wires go through the passanger side, through the firewall. There is a rectangular grommet there which will allow you to pass the plastic tube thing on the harness into it. The grommet must be taken apart for this. The wire will appear on the right side behind the battery (in usa cars). I am not sure what is on the right side in the engine compartment of uk cars.
