SRS error!!!

I told him, after I searched the phone number, to call road assystence.
He was driving alone, the car is a 2001 c220cdi coupe auto...
I did a quick search but I didn't find any situation like this, Any one have a clue what could be the problem???
Thanks
(when he call me again with new info, I will post it)
and it has not shut off. I was just going to wait until I get it serviced next month. Keep us updated...

Road assistance arrived and the guy asked if he did all the services in a MB shop among other thing, and he sayed that skiped one service some time ago, and the guy sayed, "normally I couldn't help you but..." and then surprisingly the guy just give the battery a jump start and the car worked
But know my friend need to go to a MB shop to see if the problem was the battery or other thing, but he just drived home (150km) and checked at home and no more SRS ligth and the car works fine
my car is currently in at the dealership rite now and their trying to fix my SRS light too....its my second time this happened...and i hope that they can find an solution to it...i will also keep you guys updated on this too...so far they don't know yet.

A couple of months ago it happened to me for the second time and also for the second time, the Stealer changed some electrical terminals in the "driver's area".
When MB USA sent me their usual Service Questionnaire, I wrote this up along with the fact that the local stealer is totally useless.
Last thursday I received a call from MB USA with the usual "... gee that's too bad you had a problem with one of our cars (and all along I thought that it was mine and the bank's car)". Anyway, after she attentively (read, yawn) listened to my diatribe, she suggested that should it happen again that I ask to speak with the Service Manager. Now there's a thought!!!
