Painted trunk Star?????

Painted trunk Star?????
OK, I've searched for the last hour and could not find anything regarding painting the Star badge on the trunk the same as the body color. Does anyone have a photo of what it looks like on a Silver car??? If not, can some one photoshop one??? I'm not big into chrome and think that the monochromatic look would be nice. Thanks!

I'm not big on chrome either and I've thought about doing that before, but I don't think it would look good on a silver car. I think it looks pretty good on black cars though... there's a lot of black Lexus' with black badges and it looks clean.

I like the Lexus black emblems on the black rides...but that's not paint I don't think, it's black metal (or plastic metalic or whatever). IMO if you just paint the symbols it would look like (at least a silver car) like you decided to paint the trunk and was too lazy to cover the emblems and just painted over them.

I had not thought of that!!!!!!!!! You're probably right. Maybe I need to look at a gun metal finish instead. That could look good on silver.

I had a buddy change his Acura badges to that Black Chrome. It is a factory option for Acura, so he bought it straight from Acura. I havent seen any MBs with it, but if you find some, let us know.
