Okay, so I was browsing to find out what the actual wheel weight was on the Adharaz OEM wheels and I found out the offsets posted on the brunei MB website:

LINK: Mercedes-Benz Brunei
Adharaz 5-spoke wheel. C-Class Rim (W203). Wheel Size: Front - 7.5J x 17 ET 36. Rear – 8.5J x 17 ET 34. Tyre Size: FA 225/45 R 17. Rear – 245/40R 17.
Wow, so 36 front, 34 rear? Interesting.

Nope, searched all kind of ish on here and on the internet and couldn't find one freakin' site!

Oh well, I just know that if the AMG's are 27 lbs. in the front, the sport rims have got to be heavier.

That is a great tool. I'm in the market for some new wheels to replace my stock ones. The only problem, is that i can't get info on what my wheel offsets are for this model Mercedes (2001 C240). If i can get a hold of this info, at least i have a shot at picking some rims out that'll not have a problem just bolting on and not rubbing anywhere, a sort of plug and play application. Any info is appreciated.

Happy modding!

If you use the wheel offsets for the 2004.5+ C's w/ the sport rims, you should be okay.

Hey Drexy,

How goes it man? I promised pics, i'll get around to 'em when i'm worthy of posting one against all you modders out there who'll put mine shame. But getting back to this offset thing, i was using the offset calculator all day today and it seems that since my OEM wheel is 16x7.5 w/a 37 offset all the way around, i'm going to have to find an 18"x8/9 w/an offset of 31ET and 18ET respectively if i did that right... I didn't know that upgrading would require more analytical thinking. But i'm going to take your advice on another thread.. do it right, i bought the koni strut/shocks w/the tein s-techs and wait around for the right rims to lace this hunk o' metal mayhem with.

Happy modding all!

Trust me, if you go with an offset that would match the 17 inch stock sport rims, you won't need to worry 'bout what you're upgrading to. The only thing you'll have to take into consideration is if you plan to upgrade your brakes in the future. If you do plan to upgrade the brakes, then going with the offset on the 17 inch rims will be fine.

Remember, regardless of what your current stock rims are like, you still have a w203 chassis, so the dimensions will be the same. Only thing is, you most likely don't have stock rear folded fenders, so that will be something you'll most likely have to do when you get your rims.

The only thing I found with that theory is there is another measurement that is not mentioned is the barrel. Even if you have the correct offset sometimes the barrel is not deep enough for some of the AMG brake set ups. I found this out when I was trying to get a wheel to get me home from the bay area. Nothing would fit over those brakes. But the 17' seven spoke sport wheels will. Don't figure???
